Abstract

Well a good thing about wearing a dress is you don't have to worry about a top. No worries if this top would go with that bottom. A strong trend lately were coordinating tops/bottoms that makes dressing a lot easier. No brainer ! When I first saw this dress, I was immediately drawn by the silhouette and the print. To me it has a vintage flare. But do me a favor and take a close look and tell me if it resembles a wing print. Asos describe it as wing print. I called it abstract. What do you think?
Oh and happy Thursday peeps :)
Thank you from the heart.

A plaid or a check?

After a few days of being out of blogging, it is great to be back again. But first things first.... Thank you. Thank you for all the kind words and thoughts from my previous post. I just hope that everything will be resolve and the outcome will be favorable for my little brother and I am not angry anymore.
It's Friday,  a great day so let's kick this negativity on the side, shall we and talk something much more relevant here.
I have this strong affinity with plaid print. I adore it as much as I adore leopard prints. To me it evokes fun and youthfulness. A reminder that the holidays are just right around the corner. It is a versatile print that no wonder almost everyone takes a liking to it. I am actually wearing a plaid print short dress but I wanted to wear it differently. I transformed a dress and made it into a tee by folding the remaining fabric inside.  Plaid is a  true classic that never fails to disappoint. Do you like plaid prints too?
Thank you from the heart.

Double dots

What would you say if you find something that was on sale, fits you right and so happy with the purchase? Score ! The other day, my agenda was to shop for my son and not for me. I did not find anything for him after hitting several stores but I did find something for me, myself and I. In fairness I am not thinking of buying anything that day until I saw this polka dot shorts on my way out. The mindset of shopping for my son first and not for me went all out the door. It is a habit that is very hard to kick out of my system. Although I found something for him eventually(online). The trip was not a total waste. I went home happy. It may sound so shallow to others but shopping really do releases a happy endorphins in our brains, well mine for sure ! And my husband didn't teased me of not coming home empty handed. You see when I go shopping and gone for hours, my husband can't grasp why women can be gone for hours and hours shopping and yet when they get out of stores, they only have 1 thing or nothing.
This pair of shorts is a great find. I just adore the tiny dots and the material gives a bit of a stretch. And since we are blessed this week with nothing but beautiful weather, I wore it to a brunch date with my girlfriends. Very comfortable and I can see myself wearing it to death this whole summer.
This polka dot short is one of my favorite purchase last week. What's was your's?
Thank you so much for all the sweet thoughts about my husband.
With 2 more days to the weekend, I hope you have a beautiful Wednesday.
Thank you from the heart.

Brights

If you are not feeling good, sad, going through a difficult time or the weather is such a drag and dreary....... I hope the bright colors of my jacket and sweater lightens your load, lift your spirit up, brings you hope and a smile on your pretty face :) !
This jacket has long been forgotten and never wear often. It is one of my great finds and can be dependable on days that I need a shield from windy cool days.
Have a fabulous Monday everyone and thank you for stopping by!

Repeat

Repeat...Recycle...Re-wear...Giving an oldie but goody item in my closet another chance. For example, this faux fur wool jacket that I bought 2 years ago and only wear it few times. Why? I asked myself why too. Perfect outerwear for this colder days we have been getting lately. I am going through this buy less choose well phase in my shopping life :) right now and taking a consideration of what I have and work with it rather than just buy, buy, buy. It doesn't have to be a new item to blog about all the time but rather highlight a piece that I once love and fell in love again.
Whether you are in #NYFW or not, I hope you have a fabulous weekend.
