Hi everyone happy Monday! Today I would like to dedicate this post to the victims of the most recent calamity in the Philippines. All the fatalities and missing persons are not tallied yet but I know that there will be more than what the news have reported so far. My heart and prayers goes out to all of you. I hope that all the heartbroken and suffering will heal. And that the government will do exactly what they intended to do for the benefit of it's people. And as I quote this statements from CNN - Filipino people are unbelievably resilient, long suffering, good natured, uber friendly, loyal, ingenious, and a bunch of survivors. At the end of the day, the Filipinos will just shake off the dirt from their clothes and go about their business and SMILE. They do not complain much, they will bear as long as they can. Maybe this is why they were given the "privilege" of bearing the burden of the strongest typhoon ever recorded. This statement is so true, very true ! The photos were taken with no intention on my mind what my title post would be like. But as I begun writing, it just suddenly hits me. If you asked me how I want to describe Filipino people in one word- " Rock".
I wore my camo pumps today to pay tribute and thank you Veterans for the service. Happy Veterans day..................................
Thank you so much for reading and may you have a wonderful day !
Not intended to be included in my blog pics but our dog Junior always wants to join. Hence, he is also my accessory now, no?Maybe I should change my blog title to "Fabulous Petite and Junior",lol..............

thank you Sharon. Xo !
DeleteBeautiful dedication. The situation in the Philippines truly saddened me this weekend. They had already gone through an earthquake and then this. So devastating. I'm fully aware of the destruction of Hurricanes. We went through Hurricane Katrina and it was horrible. So something on this scale is horrendous. I pray for them and will help anyway I can. You look lovely.

ReplyDeleteI saw what happened in the Philippines. It's so sad. I truly felt with the people there, who lost beloved ones, and the work of a whole life - which is nothing compared to losing relatives, of course. But still very difficult. I hope they recover soon, I really do :( t's a very sensitive post, you seem to be a very sensitive girl and I like it. denisesplanet com
