Naughty Secretary

I hope everyone has a great start up for the week. In school, work or whatever your doing at this moment and wherever you are. I have a lot of stuff to do today and tomorrow so I should keep this short and start with my day already. Today is a goodie print pairings of dots and stripes and in black and white. An old standby pieces in my closet. I been doing some cleaning here and there in my closets and selling some stuff as well. I sold 5 shoes so far and my husband was delighted about that. Little he know that I will be buying more, ha ha ha.
Thank you so much for reading.......

I don't wear my specs all the time but today I am channeling a naughty secretary for a day !

After The Rain

Happy Friday to all. I can't believe that the month of April is almost over. Before saying anything else, I would like to thank everyone for all your kind words in all my post.
A day after the rain, my husband suggested of taking pictures around these wild flowers growing abundantly in our backyard on springtime. It has pretty purple flowers and a few yellow ones. Luckily that it didn't rain too much that soil was not wet at all. Funny thing is I do not even see these flowers until my husband told me. Is it so bad that I do not even know what was growing in our backyard, lol.  In fairness, it is further out.... As noted, my husband said this is his favorite look of me when I am in my simple state of mind. I think he's just saying that to get his point across that I take too long to get ready.
This are the simple things about life that I truly enjoyed in the company of a love one !
Have a fabulous weekend everyone.

Ahhh, life is so good!

Matchy Match

Happy hump day everyone ! I am going to let you in a little secret. I do not have a green thumb. All the plants that I tried to grow did not even pass the next weather change. Don't get me wrong, I adore a well maintained landscapes and flower beds but I am not just the lucky one. I think it has something to do that I don't get to enjoy much outdoors due to my allergy so I never like to garden. My husband begs to disagree that it is not that I do not have a green thumb, it is because I forget to water them that is why they die, lol . This is the closest I can get on any flowers to not die. No water needed, just wear it ! A floral kinda day today with a faux leather vest. Playing with patterns and textures once again. I just love how this Zara pieces are perfect for Spring weather. It is not too thick and not too thin either.

Thank you so much for reading and for all your sweet thoughts.

Day Off

Have you heard of that TV series "The Walking Dead"? Almost everyone I know have seen this show but me ! Well the other day when the husband has a day off we decided to visit this small town in Senoia, Georgia where they filmed. We are most certainly not a movie groupie but we heard a lot about nice things about this town from the girl that snipped my hair, our neighbor to another mom from my son's baseball team. It was one of those days that my conversation with the husband went from food to errands and then all of a sudden he said, ok let's go ! Just like that. The main street were filled with quaint stores, boutique, restaurants, gelato store and antique stores that are right next to each other.
I am a city gal at heart but I slowly begin to like living outside the city lately.  There is something about this smaller towns that interest me. The charm, the less crowded, slow paced life and people. Behind those closed doors and white picket fences has different story to tell.  Everyone knows everybody and everybody's business You might think that small towns are quiet and boring but in reality it is not. My husband said that since there is less thing to do therefore gossip is a sport ! Is that true?
Have a fabulous Monday everyone and once again thank you for your time.

Boston On My Mind

Such a terrible, terrible tragedy. My heart goes out to the families of victims of such selfish act of terrorism. It is so not cool to attack people in such a manner like these. I cannot even imagined all the pain and suffering of those that are affected. But one thing is for sure, Boston you are in our prayers.
Sending love and hugs to those that are affected.

Simplicity

Happy Monday you guys. How was your weekend? Our's was nothing more than the ordinary. Went to do some shopping, to batting cage and run errands and stay home for most part. In my neck of the woods, the pollen count was in all time high so I have no choice but to stay indoors or else my hay fever will never get better.
So it is back to basic for me today. Simplicity with nude and black. But I played with textures and patterns with a punch of leopard in my inspiration. Nowadays, I prefer a no fuss, simple and effortless kind of dressing.

Insta Life

Ahhhh it's Friday, thank goodness. Here's life lately............
A visit to the theme park brings a lot of childhood memories to all of us. As I child I am fearless, i rode all of them. The scarier the better. But now as I get older I don't ride roller coaster anymore.

I think nothing is sexier than a grown man riding a kiddie ride for the enjoyment of his little one.

Is it that funny feeling in our stomach that makes everyone enjoy the rides at the theme parks?

I chaperone for my son's class the other day and boy, these kids are too silly.....

Is that my sunnies?

My mini me. Excuse my swollen and puffy eyes. I hate you pollen......

Upside down !

My son's latest acquisition, a Venus fly trap. He gets too impatient to see the plant works.

It's fried, it's tempura night !

I hope you all have a fun and fabulous weekend............
