Repeat...Recycle...Re-wear...Giving an oldie but goody item in my closet another chance. For example, this faux fur wool jacket that I bought 2 years ago and only wear it few times. Why? I asked myself why too. Perfect outerwear for this colder days we have been getting lately. I am going through this buy less choose well phase in my shopping life :) right now and taking a consideration of what I have and work with it rather than just buy, buy, buy. It doesn't have to be a new item to blog about all the time but rather highlight a piece that I once love and fell in love again.

Tweed

Happy Monday guys. This is a quick post just to say hello. My mother duties is calling me.  My son will be home in a few minutes so I gotta help him with the homework and he has a project that is due on Friday. First things first, I confessed that this is my first tweed jacket. If you ask me why? I don't know. I am on the hunt and still hunting but I cannot find the one. A Chanel tweed jacket will be forever in my wish list but for now I am just as happy with this red/black number. It is warm enough and the color perks you up on those cold and gloomy days ! It is a versatile piece that I can dress it up or down. As I am writing this post I am already imagining other ways to style and wear her.  Thank you all for reading and I wish your week is off to a fabulous start.

Beanie Baby Where's The Bunny?

Hi everyone happy Thursday ! Just a quick hello and a thank you for all the thoughtful words from my previous post. I really really appreciate it a lot. I am staying home right now and I am enjoying it so much. Although it feels like my days are slow but I am less stress and I loved how I can do all the stuff I want to do without having to ask for a time off.  This morning the mister asked me what will I do today since I am staying home. I told him that I will reorganize my closet as the first order of business. He said finally !!!! In fairness, my closet is clean. What I need to do is get rid of stuff that I do not wear anymore. Well, I did not get to the organization part yet because as I am writing this post I am hopeful that my son's bunny -Spartacus  will come back.  The first day of being at home already is kind of a disaster for me..... I loss the bunny !!!!!!!!  It's been awhile since I used to be a stay at home mom and I think I need some practice again. 

On another note, this is the first beanie hat I own, believe it or not.  Don't judge !

Superhero In Me

I cannot fly, fight crimes and the bad guys, saved the world(hey we recycle, help the needy does this count,no?) or possesed super powers but in our household there is a superhero in me or so I think. Sometimes I wonder how I do all the things I do on a day to day basis. Multi tasking maybe? Have a fulltime job, cook, clean, workout, non stop providing answers to all of my son's questions or listening to all his "did you know that"...  and still manage to blog. My routine is the same until the mister is home again from his work trip. The loads gets better and lighter. I can finally take off my cape and enjoy some me time. A glass of merlot or a chardonnay perhaps !
 I refuse to get help no matter how many times the mister suggested the idea of having someone come to our house and clean. I am a bit OCD(obsessive compulsive behavior) when it comes to cleaning and organizing stuff around the house so the idea is a big NO to me. My husband said that why I torture myself and yet we can get help. The offer is thoughtful and sweet and most days very tempting to accept it.
  Me as a superhero(or so I think) is nothing compared to the real super out there who risk their lives and make real sacrifices everyday to make our world comfortable and a safe place to lived. My heart goes out to you and your family and thank you for everything you do.
