Transition

With Fall just lurking around, I am starting to incorporate them again slowly as the weather starts to get cooler. This knit sweater and some leopard booties are my bets at this point. Both are essential and stand by pieces in my wardrobe as our weather slowly transition to Fall. The animal print has become a classic print in any season as it has proven it's versatility. So when the temp starts to drop these booties will keep my footsies warm and this knit top will make layering as easy and less bulky. Pairing red bag + leopard is a no brainer. It always compliments each other in my book and while I leave the rest of my outfit as neutral. As it happens to me most of the times and I am sure to some of you as well, I put together this whole ensemble starting with my shoes and everything seems to just work together.
As as y'all might have noticed, I been wearing this aviators like it is the only sunnies I owned, lol..
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend filled with love and laughter !
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

The Midi Skirt

A trend is a trend. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. And just like any other trends that come and go I always have high hope that somehow I can pull it off and fits into my lifestyle. Case in point the midi skirt. I have finally found the one that were not overwhelming my petite frame. A bonus points that I do not have to take it to my tailor for alterations. As we all know, alterations can be very pricey. The previous one's that I have ordered are quite overwhelming me. Having to pay too much for an alteration is not even worth it. This baby fits just right and it flares which I love a lot and I feel good wearing it. I like to follow trends and who doesn't but I am also realistic that there are trendy stuff that just simply won't work for me, my lifestyle or my petite frame.
Trend is good but being a slave to trend is not cool !
Sure we love our mini's and the maxi's have their place and time but why not give room for the midi.
It is girly, lovely and just screams Mad Men polish !
Twirling, not optional either...
I hope you have a wonderful week. Be kind to one another.
Thank you from the heart.

Mix prints

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a great day so far. And how was your weekend? Did you do anything fun and exciting? I can't believe I did not get bored watching a 4 hour long movie. Mind you no breaks....  It's an old classic that maybe some or most of you might not even heard of until now. It's called Gone With The Wind ! Based on the book with the same title. If it doesn't ring a bell, please google it. Since we now lived in ATL, the book and movie has a strong ties in ATL because the famous author(Margaret Mitchell) was from here. I am sure you will fell in love with the characters of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Battler. But enough of this and let us get to business.
Today I am mixing 3 prints. Never done this before. I had a max of 2 to be exact. Or maybe I did when I was little and in one of those days where I play dressed up, I might have been. 3 prints, eh??? what do you think? Plaid being the main highlight while the stripes and leopard in little doses. Fourth print most definitely not but a pairing with an understated ripped jeans is certainly a ok.
Easy peasy if you ask me.
Thank you from the heart.

Scuba dooba doo

Happy Wednesday everyone. For the last few days our weather here in Atl definitely shows signs that Spring is just around the corner. Such a perfect day to wear a new favorite, the scuba skirt! She's a stronger, thicker scuba fabric that flares out. This baby can literally stand on it's own even though it feels so lightweight to wear.
I have a lot of errands to do today so I am signing off here.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Xoxo
