Cropped

Hola ! Thank you everyone for the sweet birthday messages for my little boy. He had a great time and told us that it was the best birthday ever ! But don't they say that all the time anyway :)? I been on the look out for a cropped out for some time now. Don't judge it took me this long !!!! I just can't seem to find the right one that hits the right spot. When I saw this white number. I like the neckline that elongates my neck and the flare out style is too cute to pass up. I paired it with this textured floral skirt for a flirty night out with the hubs. And since it can get cold inside I brought me my trusty color block varsity jacket. The material is delicate and thin enough for layering and paired well with my girly ensemble. The exposed zippers add a tad of edginess if I may say so.
I hope you have a fun day with lots of smile and sunshine.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

Floral Monday

Yesterday was a very special day for our family. It's was my favorite little boy's birthday. He turn 9. Although I been planning a great party for him and has an idea of a perfect theme for several months already, he told us last week that he don't want to have a birthday party. Ok, who's child doesn't want a birthday party?????? I tried my hard to convince him but I was not successful. The boy was firmed with his decision. He just want to go to the water park, a good chocolate cake and a dinner to restaurant of his choice. As simple as that !!!! No fuss and mess.....
How can we not give what he wants.
We adore him the first time we saw him.
I already love him before I even met him.
I learn that my patience can stretch beyond my capacity because of him.
He likes to challenge me of what I know and I do not know.
He is the source of my laughter and happiness.
He's my baby boy forever.
Nine years ago, we were gifted with a gift of life. A healthy baby boy whom we love beyond forever. He is growing up way too fast and I am not ready, never will ever be ready.....

As for my outfit, this shorts is my first floral one and the most comfortable so far. It feels like I am wearing a pajama ! The fit is more loose and the adjustable waist makes it even better.
I hope you have a great week.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

I Wish : Kimono

One of the most popular hot trend this summer is the Kimono. It comes in variety of style - cropped, fringe, printed, maxi and different colorful prints and designs with varying lengths.
Wearing one is all about your own style.
Nothing right or wrong. It can be bohemian, grungy, feminine, St, Tropez glamorous or a sexy housewife with a coffee mug on hand kinda morning just got up look.
It is incredibly trendy and versatile, however there are so many other there to choose from for anybody's budget.
What do you think?
I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Thank you from the heart.

Big & Small

Contrasting prints.
 Black & White.
Cobalt blue.
Small squares.
 Big squares.
Gingham & Windowpane.
Love.... Like.... No Rules....

I am a fan of dressing in contrasting prints.
I adore the color cobalt blue and a great choice for pop of color against the classic black & white.
A smaller prints against the bigger print.
Creating a visual harmony.
Happy Wednesday everyone.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

On The Set

Our Monday turns out to be an all day event. First stop was to get health assessment test at my husband's company, lunch and off to downtown ATL where we went to see what is the buzz all about. If you have heard of the AMC's hit show "The Walking Dead" than you know what I am talking about. We are not a movie groupie at all but since we are halfway to downtown anyway, then my husband told me to let's go and check it out. We might see some walkers(zombie's) on the street, lol... The streets were not blocked off to public because the actual shooting was inside the building. There were people outside patiently waiting and so we took our spot. The funny thing is, my husband were never a fan of this show. I made him watch it before and he does seen some of the episodes but that is all to it. Well last week he started watching from the first episode and now he's hook. He's trying to catch up till the new season begins. Of course I will not leave without getting out of it, right. So I started talking to this cute girl standing next to me. I ask her is she's seen anybody yet? She get all giggly and excited. It turns out that she saw bad ass redneck Darryl(Norman Reedus) when he's heading out for their lunch break and she took a picture of him next to a walker(zombie). Well, let me say I ask this totally stranger girl nicely if she can text the picture to me. And she did ! We didn't stay that long for us to see anybody but outside the building where they were currently filming the actors were nice enough to come to the window and wave to us acknowledging the fans of their show.
Well at least we saw Rick, Carol & Darryl even from a window of a 6 story building so that is not bad at all.
On another note, I totally embarrassed my husband and son again when I told them that we can take outfit photos in the same vicinity.
Hesitation is not an option for me when I saw it on my husband's face.
These people weren't there anyway to pay too much attention on us, hence the people in the background in one of the photos.
In reference to this baby doll dress,  it is quite see-through. I resolve it by wearing a top which is a tad shorter underneath. The crochet neckline just added an extra bonus. Over all it turns out to be just one cohesive look. The fabrics for both lightweight and airy so layering for an easy peasy summer look became possible.
I hope you have a fantastic Monday and the rest of the week.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

Vest Be With You

Maybe you are wondering why in the hell I am dress all black in the middle of summer? What happen to the bright colors, pastels or even an all white look? There is a method to my madness ! Yes it is all black but I am wearing something that is breathable courtesy of my crochet top, no sleeves via this vest and a shorts. So even it is black, i still feel cooler and comfortable.
Everything is lightweight and such an easy wear.
Some kind of trick that I have been tried and works for me.
The vest pull the whole look together. It's like showing some and hide some type of thing :)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
I am getting packed for our short trip to Florida.
We are attending the funeral and pay last respect to my husband's cousin the last time.
Thank you so much for all the sweetest thoughts, virtual hugs and condolences.
I truly, truly appreciates it all.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

It features a beautiful delicate floral lace overlay with bow accents on both the bra and panty. The push up bra is lightly padded, adjustable straps, an under wire plunge cups and a hook and eye back closure. The quality of my set is impeccable, it is comfortable and constructed well. For me, the color of these matching sets are even a bonus ! I like a neutral color in my lingerie's. Over all, I am pleased with the quality, comfort, color and size and definitely it is well worth the money. Lastly, their illustrations on the new packaging is so darn cute....
