On The Set

Our Monday turns out to be an all day event. First stop was to get health assessment test at my husband's company, lunch and off to downtown ATL where we went to see what is the buzz all about. If you have heard of the AMC's hit show "The Walking Dead" than you know what I am talking about. We are not a movie groupie at all but since we are halfway to downtown anyway, then my husband told me to let's go and check it out. We might see some walkers(zombie's) on the street, lol... The streets were not blocked off to public because the actual shooting was inside the building. There were people outside patiently waiting and so we took our spot. The funny thing is, my husband were never a fan of this show. I made him watch it before and he does seen some of the episodes but that is all to it. Well last week he started watching from the first episode and now he's hook. He's trying to catch up till the new season begins. Of course I will not leave without getting out of it, right. So I started talking to this cute girl standing next to me. I ask her is she's seen anybody yet? She get all giggly and excited. It turns out that she saw bad ass redneck Darryl(Norman Reedus) when he's heading out for their lunch break and she took a picture of him next to a walker(zombie). Well, let me say I ask this totally stranger girl nicely if she can text the picture to me. And she did ! We didn't stay that long for us to see anybody but outside the building where they were currently filming the actors were nice enough to come to the window and wave to us acknowledging the fans of their show. 

Well at least we saw Rick, Carol & Darryl even from a window of a 6 story building so that is not bad at all. 

On another note, I totally embarrassed my husband and son again when I told them that we can take outfit photos in the same vicinity.

 Hesitation is not an option for me when I saw it on my husband's face. 

These people weren't there anyway to pay too much attention on us, hence the people in the background in one of the photos. 

In reference to this baby doll dress,  it is quite see-through. I resolve it by wearing a top which is a tad shorter underneath. The crochet neckline just added an extra bonus. Over all it turns out to be just one cohesive look. The fabrics for both lightweight and airy so layering for an easy peasy summer look became possible.

Yellow mood

Golden yellow hue brought by this skirt sets up a bright and positive mood to start my week off.  Our weekend was nothing but fun with family around for good food and laughters. 

Today's post, I dedicate to all the brave men and women who served this great nation.

Sometimes, thank you is not enough.

Remembering the great sacrifice of those who walked the walk......

It is a holiday here in America today for we are celebrating Memorial Day.

Lunch out

Hello everyone. How was your week so far? I've got a day that I was able to wear shorts and now we are back again with chilly days and cold nights even though springtime should only be days away. I wore my new favorite cardi/sweater for a lunch date with my little man. I goes to his school quite often and funny how kids at school and those that are not even on his class knows me as Dylan's mom ! The boys would wave and the girls would always ask about my shoes :)

I can't even begin to describe how comfortable this sweater jacket is. It is my security blanket on the go. The taupe color goes quite well with my army green jacket, the white v neck top and skinny jeans. There is so much organic and down right earthy about the combination of these colors. But of course I did add some pop of print via the clutch and shoes. I feel warm, great and comfortable. I am a busy mom and easy outfits on the go like such are always winners on my book. But just when I thought I am busy enough? How about those other moms that has more than 1 child and works full time? I have this nagging question, how do they do it?

Walking in style

Hello December ! My lovely blogger friends, I missed you all. I had an awesome time and great food  and I hope you guys have the same. I did not brave the crowd shopping but went afterwards on Black Friday and did not really see anything that is worth buying. I am rather hopeful with the cyber Monday and we shall see.  On a much related note......................

This I believe that a girl can't have enough leopard in her life. For those of you who love the print as much as I do, you truly understand what I meant. Running errands in a comfortable and stylish footwear does not hurt either. That is why I am very excited with my beautiful new Fibi & Clo Audrey leopard,  an adorable flats that was totally designed in NYC with a southern love ! They offer shoes, sandals and accessories in chicest designs at prices gals can't resist. One thing I can attest is that my Audrey's is very well made and comfortable and true to size. And since the people of Fibi&Clo are so awesome, they also send me this Karine necklace which I will be wearing in my future post.  Intrigue yet? I been Plaid

 From the traditional tartan to houndstooth to buffalo plaids, it is undeniably that plaids made a super comeback ! And did you know that when Plaid originated in Scotland, it is actually their way of differentiating between clans? As a huge trend this fall,  I don't know about you but I am loving it ! Certainly giving me a fun, carefree and young vibe. Reminiscent of the younger me wearing my school uniform when I used to attend an all girls catholic school.  But I wanted to kick it up a notch by contrasting plaid and leopard for visual interest of course. Life is short. I want to have fun in anyway I can. Today, I just had this feel good feeling dressing up courtesy of my plaid pants. Aside from the fact that I was heavily photobomb by our dog Junior, life is great ! I swear the dog would not cooperate.

Falling for fall

Hi everyone. Fall is officially upon us. Crisp fresh air, leaves turning into vibrant colors of oranges, reds and yellows, cooler temperature and the smell of holidays is just around the corner. My favorite color for fall of course is burgundy. Sometimes is called oxblood. Either way, the color is rich and a beauty.
