Blue for Friday : pastel & cage booties

I just caught a Friday bug. What is it? A some sort of sickness that your mind and body refuse to be more productive and responsive due to it has been program to sit, kick back and enjoy the weekends. I just made it up and I am sure some of you out there are experiencing this kind of bug from time to time.   I sit here and just stare at the computer and has not compose any decent statements about the outfit. Maybe it is too early and I need coffee to finally wake up. Whatever it is,  I am experiencing some major brain fart right now and yes I need some coffee :)
So here's to the weekend everyone............May you have a fabulous one !

Monday Twirl : Peplum skirt + Lace

Hi, my name is Sam and I am a sucker for skirts. Compared to a dress, a skirt for me requires less alteration which means less cost. For example this one, it hits me on all notes except for the waist, it is a tad bigger. But there is nothing would a trusty belt would not solve. I just adore the peplum style and the pleats of this skater skirt. For anyone who adores a peplum and skirt, it is not hard to fall for this one. It is girly and pretty  And can you blame me for not wanting to twirl?
Have a great Monday everyone...
Thank you from the heart.

P.S. On another note, I have been noticing within the last 2 weeks that GFC is not working whenever I have to follow other blogs through GFC. I got an error message that is something like this " try again later, not working right now" when I tried to log in. I thought it was just for a few minutes or so but actually not. I got no time for this GFC !  I am not sure on your end if you have experiencing the same. I got no time to find answers if GFC will fix this problem. And there's always bloglovin, Pinterest etc... Let me know your thoughts.

The jean jacket

The jean or denim jacket has been around for decades. It is one of the most versatile piece of clothing anybody should have in their closet which makes pairing and wearing it the more easier.
It comes in different wash, price range and silhouettes. Jean jacket's are one of those things that the older it gets the better it feels and look.  Actually my husband has a vintage Levi's jacket that now has been handed down to me. It was too small for him but hang on to it for years. It is still huge on me but i but I sure that I can find ways to wear it one of these days when I feel like I am too cool for school.....
The possibilities of pairing a jean jacket are endless. See me here . Case in point, I am wearing mine with such fun, bright and colorful skirt. It almost makes me feel so youthful :) Such simple piece, easy to wear and yet it has a classic cult following....
Thank you from the heart.

Lunch out

Hello everyone. How was your week so far? I've got a day that I was able to wear shorts and now we are back again with chilly days and cold nights even though springtime should only be days away. I wore my new favorite cardi/sweater for a lunch date with my little man. I goes to his school quite often and funny how kids at school and those that are not even on his class knows me as Dylan's mom ! The boys would wave and the girls would always ask about my shoes :)
I can't even begin to describe how comfortable this sweater jacket is. It is my security blanket on the go. The taupe color goes quite well with my army green jacket, the white v neck top and skinny jeans. There is so much organic and down right earthy about the combination of these colors. But of course I did add some pop of print via the clutch and shoes. I feel warm, great and comfortable. I am a busy mom and easy outfits on the go like such are always winners on my book. But just when I thought I am busy enough? How about those other moms that has more than 1 child and works full time? I have this nagging question, how do they do it?
What is your to go outfits? Please share.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

Ripped & knit

The best $17 I have ever spent. It was on sale a few weeks ago. I am talking about this ripped skinny legging jeans. Right on the spot for all ripped crazy trend right now. The color is what I am looking for and so perfect for spring/summer.  It does stretch a little bit during the day but not enough like it is almost a size up different. I hate that some jeans do stretch out on the knee area after prolong seating, this one doesn't. However, the ripped on my knee and the rest of them will do eventually get bigger after wearing and washing which I am going to like even more.  I am wearing a 00P and it fits me like a glove. As for the sweater, it was a steal for $22 which I snag from LOFT few months ago on sale + additional 40% off. It was one of those store visits that turns out to be good. I did pick a size small because I want it to be a more lose fit on me. It is thick and perfect for mid low temp days.
thanks from the heart.
xoxo
