Vest Be With You

Maybe you are wondering why in the hell I am dress all black in the middle of summer? What happen to the bright colors, pastels or even an all white look? There is a method to my madness ! Yes it is all black but I am wearing something that is breathable courtesy of my crochet top, no sleeves via this vest and a shorts. So even it is black, i still feel cooler and comfortable. 

Everything is lightweight and such an easy wear. 

Some kind of trick that I have been tried and works for me. 

The vest pull the whole look together. It's like showing some and hide some type of thing :)

I am getting packed for our short trip to Florida. 

We are attending the funeral and pay last respect to my husband's cousin the last time.

The jean jacket

The jean or denim jacket has been around for decades. It is one of the most versatile piece of clothing anybody should have in their closet which makes pairing and wearing it the more easier.
It comes in different wash, price range and silhouettes. Jean jacket's are one of those things that the older it gets the better it feels and look.  Actually my husband has a vintage Levi's jacket that now has been handed down to me. It was too small for him but hang on to it for years. It is still huge on me but i but I sure that I can find ways to wear it one of these days when I feel like I am too cool for school.....
 The possibilities of pairing a jean jacket are endless. See me here . Case in point, I am wearing mine with such fun, bright and colorful skirt. It almost makes me feel so youthful :) Such simple piece, easy to wear and yet it has a classic cult following....

Happy, happy Monday everyone ! I hope you don't get tired of me and my prints. I might have been a little late when check prints are everywhere and yet I still see some of it every now and then. I have ordered I quite few but it just didn't work out for me. I keep looking until I came across this one. And I think she's a keeper. My cravings has been satisfied for check prints. The colors of purple and blue are unexpected for me. The contrast from the sleeves were such a fun twist.

Aztec vest

 Hola everyone. Happy Monday. As a big fan of vest, this one caught my eye right away. It's all about the print I can say. An Aztec print that is definitely different from what I already got in my closet.  And to combat my hair from flying everywhere, a floppy hat is my surest bet.

Meeting eye to eye

These are just one of those days when my son and I don't meet eye to eye. As I have mention here on countless times my 8 year old boy is my stand by photographer when the husband is not around. We did a quick one before I headed out and the result is not as good I was hoping for. I am in a rush and he's just not in the mood. The funny thing is he told me, mommy no pictures for you on my holiday school break and boy he's serious about it, ha ha ha....... Tomorrow I am pretty much sure he will forget what he says especially when trying to be extra good for Santa is in the agenda these days.
