Vest Be With You

Maybe you are wondering why in the hell I am dress all black in the middle of summer? What happen to the bright colors, pastels or even an all white look? There is a method to my madness ! Yes it is all black but I am wearing something that is breathable courtesy of my crochet top, no sleeves via this vest and a shorts. So even it is black, i still feel cooler and comfortable. 

Everything is lightweight and such an easy wear. 

Some kind of trick that I have been tried and works for me. 

The vest pull the whole look together. It's like showing some and hide some type of thing :) 

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. 

I am getting packed for our short trip to Florida. 

We are attending the funeral and pay last respect to my husband's cousin the last time.

 Hello everyone. How was your day so far? Is it just me or what but 2013 is almost to an end already. Whoa, how did it happen and it feels like I have not accomplish anything yet. I talked about the year going too fast for me and yet here I am wearing a piece of clothing that reminiscent of November. The Thanksgiving, Halloween and pumpkins. It is not of any intention to keep these shorts that is borderline orange in color or sweet potato pie but to my mistake of neglecting to call Zara the minute I received my order and reported that this shorts has no internal tag. I try it on and was hoping to like it. I return it the same day but they rejected and sent back the item to me. It's a no win situation for me. It is one of those items in my closet that was not a love at first sight but eventually will grow on me and started liking it. I have learned my lessons and will be careful next time. Decided to wear it anyway.  It is not my favorite buy from Zara but it is doable. Adding a bit of sparkle for some fun and texture and I am off to go.

Mint condition

A quick hello everyone. I hope your week is off to a great start. As summer is coming to almost an end, I am trying to take advantage as much as I can. It's shorts day one from another. This mint cutoff is one of my favorites. 

Thank you for all the sweet words and thoughts from my previous post. The family is coping slowly. I guess being busy helps a lot.

Shorts + Anchor Buttons

Hi everyone. Happy Tuesday. I hope that each and every one of you enjoyed the long weekend that we just had. Our's was pretty good since we got to spend time with family. I cannot get enough of stripes.   I found this stripe knit shorts with gold anchor buttons. I think it is just adorable and comfortable to wear which is perfect for our hot and humid summer here in the South. I think I can get a lot of wear with these knit shorts.
