Inspiration: Yellow + Blue

I get inspired this time with my very yellow saffiano leather bag and started pulling pieces in my closet that will compliment my sunny as the sun newest acquisition. As it turns out, i think that the pairing is easy on the eyes. Yellow + blue compliment each other, chambray is versatile and the moto jacket, well you can't go wrong with stripes ! The result is a perfect blending of colors and textures. What inspires you lately?

Lastly, thank you so much for all the tips and sweet thoughts about me suffering from spring allergies. Since my monday post, the pollen counts are still high as ever but it does not stop me from doing what I want to do outdoors such as walking in the mornings, errands and taking my son to his baseball practice and games. I will see my allergist sometime next week so I will start with my old regimen of shots and I so hate it !

Thank goodness we took some outfit post prior to all this pollen craziness around here.
On another note while I am doing my blogger duty of visiting other blogs that I support and liked,  somehow me and the ever fabulous Tiffany of I am Style-ish has the same inspiration in mind. Yellow, stripes and chambray. Oppsssss, well great minds think a like.

Just Chic

Happy happy Thursday lovelies. When everyone has already experiencing mild to extremely cold days, here I am still can manage to go out with my naked legs outside. The weather here in Atlanta is generous enough to gave us days of temperature to a high 70's. There are chilly mornings but the temperature doesn't stay the same throughout the day. The sweet November and the oh so crisp smell of Autumn weather is here with the leaves changing colors to fiery red, sunny yellow and bright orange, pretty soon I can no longer hold on to days such as this. It will not be for long and the holidays are here for us to enjoy, my favorite time of the year ! As crazy as it is but I am really enjoying days like this while it last wherein sweater, coat, scarf or boots are all must before venturing outside. What have you been enjoying lately?

Also I bought this shirt just for the fun of it. A simple tee, an understated piece meets the more dressier muted gold sequince mini.

I hope you have a fun day today and a fabulous weekend ahead...

Game Day

Happy Monday everyone. How was your weekend? Our's turn out pretty good. The weather was perfect to spend the day watching a football game and had an awesome time.  I am delighted that I still get to wear shorts around here. It was cold during the week but the weather cooperate for us football fans to enjoy watching the game without freezing to death. The other team got slaugthered bad by the DAWGS so the mister was pretty happy about it.What about you? Anything fun you did over the weekend?

Cobalt Blue & Lesson Learned

Hello everyone. It is almost Friday and I can't wait for the weekend to start rolling. I apologize for the quality of pictures on this post. The settings were wrong and  forgot to preview all the shots taken because we have gotten busy doing something else that day.    It's one of those moments when you sit back and be surprise after downloading the pictures and you get this "Oh No Moments". Nowadays stuff like this which is not near perfect does not bother me anymore for there are other things in life that are more important to cause worry. Less worry = less wrinkles and learned lessons from mistakes. My lesson learned is to never never forget to preview all photos before calling it done most especially if your photographer is more forgetful than you.... On the other hand, cobalt is an instant favorite color of mine and never fails to caught my eye. Such a vibrant and lovely color I think. I been noticing that my recent purchases are dominated by black which isn't bad. Black is chic and my favorite standly color but I try to incorporate other colors, textures and prints unto my wardrobe and experiment with them. See how it works on me and my body type. What works for others may not work for me ! That is why fashion is very personal and fun. So when I spotted this top in Cobalt and button down(another fav of mine), I knew that I will get it.

Have a happy and fabulous weekend ! I heart you all...

Can't have Too Many Skirts

Happy Thursday everyone. How you been?  I am having a stress less days so far and I am just enjoying it very much. I am featuring one of my favorite staple in my wardrobe - Skirt ! As I have noticed that I gravitate more and more these days on this particular item lately. Could it be that I just found some cute ones around lately? Just like this one! Or I am just a creature of habit or maybe I am both !  A simple black skirt with a twist from a classic pencil cut silhoutte to a skirt with a trumphet hem. I just love how the hem flares out. It's girly and so fun ! And since I am petite, it's important that my clothes doesn't overwhelm my frame. Just as my seven year old said - thumbs up mommy !!!

Black White And Sparkly

Hi everyone.  Happy Monday. How was your weekend? I hope it was fun. Mine was short and busy between running errands to finishing up my son's penny project for school. As we get older days are getting shorter and we gets busier. Whereas when I was younger, life seems to be pretty slow. Because I have no responsibilities back then, no concept of time and no bills to pay.  Here's my new favorite - a sparkly Peter Pan collar top ! Another great find at F21. I can now say that F21 has some gems in them. You just need to dig deeper. The collar reminds me of my school uniform in elementary school except that it has bottons on the front, short sleeves, white and definitely not a sparkly collar.   I went to an all girls catholic school so our school uniform is pretty much more to the nun's standards. They are so strict on how we wear our tops, the lenght of our skirts and even the kind of socks we choose to wear. I wonder this days if they still are the same.  I also apologize for the wrinkles on this top. I actually did not notice it until I started attaching the pictures.  Oh oh, no turning back - it is what it is. My dear photographer, please let me know next time that my blouse is wrinkled. Also, there are several settings in the camera and not just the "Auto", lol.  Ok at this point I am allowed to roll my eyes, no?
Thank you for all the sweet comments from my previous post. It makes me smile reading all of them.

Mauve Leather Skirt

Hi everyone. Happy Monday. Would you believe it's the first day of October? Before you know it, holidays are here again. Oh, holidays my favorite time of the year ! We are lucky here in the south for I still have several more weeks before start layering on clothes. The weather is not cool enough to really bundle up. I been loving leather lately. I found this skirt from H&M a few weeks ago and love it since then. It has a good weight to it, fully lined and doesn't look cheap at all. It comes in another color- black. Thank you all my dear readers for keep coming back and reading my post. I love to read them all. I hope you all have a great day and week ahead of you.
