In Your Memory

Happy Monday loves. Thank you so much for all the kind words from my last post. I am still under the weather but feeling a little better than a few days ago. How was your weekend? In today's post I would like to remember one person who are near and dear to me. A lady whom I fondly called Mama Tita. She's like a second mother to me. I have so many memories of her but my fondest would be watching her cook and bake. She's a quintessential Martha Stewart with an impeccable sense of style and endless love for fashion. She influence me in a lot of ways I can only imagined. She may belong to the upper class of society in the country I came from but she never make me feel that I do not belong to hers. Looking back, the many summers, holidays and birthdays I spend in her house are all now lovely memories to remember and  I will keep in my heart every time I think of my mama...She passed away a few days ago. I know that wherever she is now, she's happy for she had a great family and a great life ! I will missed you.

Clothing Loves

Happy Friday everyone. I have not really feeling great in the last few days. I feel like I am about to catch a flu which is not cool at all ! This is just a quickie post to share. One good thing of being a fashion blogger, you discover new sites that have a variety of products to offer. There are gazillion online sites out there and thanks to the blogging community, i discover new online sites every now and then either by blogs that I supported and visited on a frequent basis or get contacted by the online retailer. Just recently I was contacted by an online supplier and the largest wholesalers and dropship  from China of Chinese and Korean fashion clothing namely ClothingLoves, of course I am curious to check out what this online super store has to offer. Actually Clothing Loves has a great selection of fashion dresses/clothing for women and men, accessories, wholesale jewelry, special occasion dresses and even wedding dresses. They offer worldwide shipping too ! Upon browsing their websites, I discovered that they actually have some cute items. Looking for a chiffon white dress?

Welcome 2013

Hello 2013 and hello everyone. I am back and I miss you all. I took some time off from blogging due to the holidays and spend time with the family and some travelling a little here and there. And no matter how hard I tell myself not to stress out and just chill, the celebration were overwhelming and tiring to a point. The year 2012 seems to have came by so fast just like every other year. There are so many events in my life that I will always remember about last year be it happy or sad and the birth of fabulous petite were one of the them. I am happy that I started this blog because I have met some very nice and truly wonderful people through blogging and I hope that it may continue the friendship for a longer time.  I wish you all luck, love, good health and endless laughters in 2013...........If there is one thing I would want to start as my resolution for this year is to at least get an 7 to 8 hour sleep each day and I am pretty much looking forward to that ! What are you looking forward to this new year?

I Have A Lunch Date

Hello everyone. It's a gloomy Monday for me. It's cold and raining outside, arrggghhh !  How was your weekend? Mine was typical like most weekends we have. Thank you for all your sweet thoughts from my last post. I really appreciate all your kinds words. Our weather has been chilly to cold and dry to wet to a perfect hello sunshine kinda day. I opted to layer my clothing with different textures to give some interest.  It's a bit chilly that day but not super cold enough to wear thicker coat for a stop at my son's school. Once in a while we would surprised him by showing up around his lunch break to eat lunch with him. I was hoping to get a much clearer pictures than this batch but it gets darker earlier now. Speaking of school and children.......

My heart goes out to the families of the victims of such horrible act of violence. I cannot even comprehend why such bad things like this happen to innocent children. I think that losing a child is the lowest form of misery. Last Friday as soon as the shootings happened in CT, my son's school was in lockdown until further notice. As soon as I get in and they called him, I am super happy to see my boy. I hugged him so tight, told him I am so glad to see him and I love him so much. As I finished this post, the families and the victims of such tragedy are in my mind and my prayers. As a parent myself I can only imagined what it feels like for those whose loveones whose lives are taken away abruptly.

Georgia Peach

Hi everyone.  I am wayyy too busy at work and so tired at the end of the day. I also keep having this excuses of not wanting to work out. That is not good because I know somehow I will eventually pay for it. My body will be begging for it.  I can't believe that it's been a year since we moved from Houston to Atlanta. It doesn't seem like to me. Although still adjusting to everything around here and the life in the suburbs, I can't help but miss the city life, my friends, living 2 miles from downtown, the Discovery Green Park, Galveston Island and all about Houston so many to mention. We've been everywhere in Georgia before we even moved here but now that we are living here, I still don't feel settled.  It might take awhile before I can consider myself a Georgia Peach or even be one but I know I will get there one day, slowly....

Keep Me Warm

Hello everyone. Happy Monday. We had a busy but fun weekend. It is harder to go shopping when the people you want to shop for is with you. I really need to be focus this week and doesn't get sidetracked. My problem is instead of shopping for other people, I always ended up picking stuff for me. My husband said if I keep on buying for myself then Santa will run out of ideas of what to get me. How was your weekend? Are you done shopping, still shopping or opted to stay in and keep yourselves warm....

What keeps you warm lately? I have my trusty faux fur to keep me warm on those cold winter days. It's wonderful how a simple coat like this can take a simple tee and semi ripped jeans  to a different level. Although I got a lot of teased and side comments from my funny 7 year old son and the mister, I still wear it with style and promised them both to wear it often until they stop teasing me about it. To the little man and the big man at home - don't mess with the messer !!!! The truth is she keeps me warm and that is all that matters.

Friday I'm In Love

Tomorrow is Friday, somewhere in another part of the world it's Friday and I'm in love even if today is only Thursday and I am already in Friday state of mind !!! Last week I told you guys that we are going to take my son to see Santa. Surprisingly that day, there were no long lines to wait and we were done quickier than I thought which makes me very happy because the rest of the day were filled with shopping, watching the christmas parade, a trip to a christmas tree farm and putting up decorations which continue on till Sunday. We are beyond tired.  I do not know if I makes sense to you all but feeling tired during the holiday is somewhat an ok feeling because it's the holidays and no matter what we are always in a jolly mood.
