Scuba dooba doo

Happy Wednesday everyone. For the last few days our weather here in Atl definitely shows signs that Spring is just around the corner. Such a perfect day to wear a new favorite, the scuba skirt! She's a stronger, thicker scuba fabric that flares out. This baby can literally stand on it's own even though it feels so lightweight to wear.
I have a lot of errands to do today so I am signing off here.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Xoxo

P.s. my last post Brights was featured on two birds blog. Thanks to lovely ladies Nora & Megan !

Window down

If you are lucky enough to live somewhere warm and sunny, then you are very lucky. It has been so cold everywhere and today I heard on the news that it is even colder in Chicago than in the North Pole. My son was very happy to stay home for 2 days because most schools here in Atlanta were closed due to weather. I myself don't feel like going out. My daily outfit consist of rotation of pajamas and socks. I know it is not a fabulous sight but I feel like hibernating on this cold weather with a cup of good coffee in the morning or a hot cocoa. If it's not for no more food to cook at home, I dare not to go outside.

And can you blame me for wearing over and over again my new found favorite faux fur vest? She gives me warm and comfort just like my home made soup and stew as per my husband and son. I piled on top of another olive vest and a sweater for texture, color and mainly to combat cold.

And as for my little photographer, he agreed to take photos provided he gets to stay inside the car with just the window roll down and properly fed with his choice of food. I think that it is a lot easier to tag him along when he's just a baby and not when he's 8. And yes, he likes to eat at restaurant and no more kids meal. The boy knows how to negotiate !

So while we are waiting for my mother in law at the airport pick up zone only, my son snap some photos of me(of course me urging him). Not quite a busy day, less cars at the curve that's why we did it. But the funny thing is those airport security were on their segway were just literally few steps from me and did not even say a word like "ah miss this is a 5 minute pick up zone only" and "Why are you taking photos"? ha ha ha......The two of them just watched.
Happy Wednesday everyone.
xoxo

Adore Me

Feeling sexy and frisky? Show some or hide some? My Adore Me lingerie comes to mind. It's called the "Brenda". I am particular about the quality of lace in all my lingerie choices and this set passed the quality and the itchiness test. The lace is soft with a little stretch and doesn't easily ripped. It is just so pretty!

I was introduced to this NYC based company a few weeks ago to this line of designer lingeries and sleepwear at an affordable price. They design for every kind of woman in mind and offer a wide variety of sizes and styles. I did not have a hard time searching for what I want because of their Style Profile Quiz that helps personalized your shopping experienced and showroom of selections especially tailored for you.  For those of you ladies that wants to invest in seriously fabulous lingerie, Adore Me is a membership based e-commerced website that offers special discounts to VIP members or if you dont want no commit, they also offer a Pay-As-You-Go service.

Well for one thing their head of design team was the former design director of Victoria Secret's so you know that the quality and design would be fabulous. And I think that Adore Me will be the  next big thing in anything lingerie and all that sexy fabulous woman stuff.

I am happy with my experience with Adore Me. If you want to treat yourself extra special, I suggest to give them a try.
Happy New Year everyone. May 2014 bring you endless laughter, love and peace......

Meeting eye to eye

These are just one of those days when my son and I don't meet eye to eye. As I have mention here on countless times my 8 year old boy is my stand by photographer when the husband is not around. We did a quick one before I headed out and the result is not as good I was hoping for. I am in a rush and he's just not in the mood. The funny thing is he told me, mommy no pictures for you on my holiday school break and boy he's serious about it, ha ha ha....... Tomorrow I am pretty much sure he will forget what he says especially when trying to be extra good for Santa is in the agenda these days.
Have a great Monday everyone. Remember be kind to one another, have fun and enjoy life.

Off to the museum

Going with my son's class to the field trip today was a lot of fun. Since I am a parent volunteer to watched over 5 kids, I wear something comfortable and less maintenance. Getting pulled from left to right by kids, I did not dare to wear anything that snug easily. A good ole cotton fabric suits just fine. I just have to switch my cross body bag to a more practical carry all LV.
I hope you are having a wonderful Thursday everyone.
The pictures did not came out great as I wanted to. I swear my 8 year old takes better quality photos than my husband, lol !
Happy Thursday everyone.

All black, almost !

Today I am recycling my high and low skirt, a summer favorite to an early part of Fall. It is not freezing cold here yet so I can still dare to bare some legs. Once in awhile I get comments from my son or husband about my outfits. This time my husband said that the outfit reminds him of the movie "Matrix". I think it is the all black ensemble and the leather. I told him just like Trinity, huh? He said yeah.
Thank you so much for reading. Until next time.
Have a fabulous weekend everybody!!!!!!

In a metal box

Well hello cold weather ! We are finally getting a taste of Fall weather here in Atlanta. However it only gets colder in the mornings and the rest of the day is warmer. Today is no exception. To bundle up, layer a little or just wear something that will accommodate a chilly warm windy day. How cool is this sweater with an edgy twist via a zipper with faux leather detailing in such a lovely color of golden yellow. I favored my stilletos most of the time but this thigh high boots is as comfortable as it can be and so weather appropriate. And to tell you the truth when the craze about the thigh high boots trend came, I am skeptical and intimidated. My first thought was I wish I was taller to pull off this look,  I wish I had more legs so that I am not overpowered,  I wish I can wear the one with less than 4 inches heels and look decent. Instead of so many I wish and what if's, I tried on the same pair and never look back. It was last year and acquired her on a super great price and was pleased ever since. And I can still remember  as I stare at myself in front of the mirror and contemplating......An older lady was watching me while she was waiting for her shoes. She said it looks great on you. Go on and buy them boots girl!
I hope you have a great Monday..........As always thanks a lot for your time.

My precocious 8 year old you took my photos today. He's the one who suggested to get inside the container and get some pictures taken. He needs a haircut so bad but I like all his curls and maybe I can hold up for a little longer.
