I think not having snow all throughout winter makes it more fun and exciting for us living in Atlanta whenever we have a snowstorm. It brings out the kid in me and truly enjoys the white powdery goodness. I cannot speak for those that was stranded on the road for hours and hours. I can't even imagine the ordeal of those that were on their cars for 8 hours, having to abandon your vehicle on freeway or walked to the nearest gas stations to do your thing or get some snack and try to be patient while your vehicle is almost running out of gas. But after 3 days of snow, we Southerners wants everything back to normal again. I don't mind a snow day or two but not everyday. The usual 15 minutes ride to work for my husband became an hour journey on an icy condition. Since we are not used to this condition and don't deal with it on a daily basis, imagine the people panicking. On the other hand, my son, husband and I enjoy the snow and make the best of it. I think our neighbors thinks we are crazy for being outside. Besides, snow storm here doesn't come but every two years based on statistics so that is doable. There are things in life that instead of complaining and finding others to blame, I say live with it and just let the tides roll. In or case, if there's a snow and plenty of it, make a biggest snowman you can make. Well that is what we just did !
Two days of snow playing is fine. The 3rd day, yes still ok :)
Thank you for coming back and truly appreciate your sweet thoughts.
xoxo
