Must have essentials for Fall 2013

Hi everyone and happy Friday ! Woohoo, the weather is great and it's Octoberfest everywhere. I have a special guest today in the blog. I hope you enjoy Suzy Walsh's(editor of The House of Elegance Fashion) insights for must haves for Fall 2014.
You must have already gone through all the magazines and the runway coverage always ensures you know what the catwalk trends talk about. However, there are not many of us who actually go to the designer collections and get something. This is where we need to think of the options in fashion statements and trends that are way more viable and easy to identify with, like more of a regular thing. Check some important things for buying  clothes online Regards, that you may consider worth adding to the closet.

A fur coat or jacket: One of the hottest materials for the season is fur. From the pop up colours to the more regular ones, fur seems to be what the world is talking about. Look for the more coloured options that comes in dual or triple tones or simply stick to the basic fall colours, the choice is yours. For those crusading against animal fur, there is no reason to worry as there are some excellent choices even in synthetic and manmade fur.

A tweed dress: From some of the most popular brands to the new ones on the block, tweed has been the favourite for many. Once a masculine choice, this one is more of the women material now and is excellently practical for the current season. You can look for a complete suit or even a classic coat can do wonders, and the colours are best chosen in the basic style!

A pair of leather boots: One of the hottest items of the season is a pair of thigh-high boots in leather that can be combined with leggings or even a small dress. Some of the brands that seemed to be too much in love with leathered leg look include Emilio Pucci and Céline, while brands like Chanel seemed to be working on soft leather. Like it or not, high leather boots are not going anywhere, so for the coming fall, you are certainly at ease!

White diva: If you want to steer clear of the boring fall colours, this season white is something you can embrace with love. From dresses to pure suits in classy fabrics, there is a lot of choice on the table. Make sure that you check for the overcoats in white for that smart chic look at work, and for more ideas, you can check in the collections of Isabel Marant and Valentino.
Among the various other styles that you can try to include are a touch of metallic, powder pink coloured coats and choice of navy value suits. The best thing about navy blue is the fact that you can even carry it on the casual days with ease just like you would wear at work. Get started with shopping for the fall, the best is yet to be invested in.

Falling for fall

Hi everyone. Fall is officially upon us. Crisp fresh air, leaves turning into vibrant colors of oranges, reds and yellows, cooler temperature and the smell of holidays is just around the corner. My favorite color for fall of course is burgundy. Sometimes is called oxblood. Either way, the color is rich and a beauty.
I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday !

Think PINK

Hello everyone. October is the breast cancer awareness month. A cause that is very near and dear to my heart. I loss my sister in law a few years ago with this ugly disease. She was young when she died. Leaving my brother and 2 young kids in sorrow and pain. I thought about her of what it might have been if she had survive. I thought about random stories that we would talk about if she succeed her battle. I thought about her fears leaving her young children without a mother. And since my brother remarried already, I thought about if her children still miss her, if they still thinks about her.  This is for you Grace, for all the women who are survivors, for all those that are still fighting for their lives and for all who loss their fight. To hopefully one day we can find a cure that all the affected will only need to take is a pill and cancer will simply go away.
I miss my sister in law and yet somehow having to know how she struggle and fought, I am relieve that she is now peaceful and her body will not hurt anymore. Grace, please continue to watch over us especially your children.
Happy Monday everyone. I hope you are having a great start. Stay healthy and happy !

Slip on

Hello everyone. Happy Friday ! Here' s a quickie post of a new favorite of mine. It's my new Gap's animal print slip on sneakers. Similar to the Celine's pricey version. I been wearing them non stop and people stop me to asked where I got them from. Runs a tad big for my tiny feet of size 5.

Exploring Paris

Hello everyone. It's hump day, woo hoo !!!!!  Here are a few more photos of us exploring Paris. We are just like any other tourist and sample all the food, shop and riding the open tour bus around the city. I am so bad not taking any food picture. I keep forgetting to take pictures first before I eat them.  Also my husband usually rolled his eyes whenever I do that. He always asked me what is up with people taking pictures of food and post it. What can I say, he still lives under the rock, lol !
We talked about going to watch the Moulin Rouge but we got to the theater too late for the show that night. I wish we could have stayed one more night. I think I need at least a month in Paris to really explore the city in every corner or even drive up to the see the countryside. The husband said why don't  we make a yearly trip to Paris for our anniversary. Hmmm that sounds good to me. What do you think?
I hope you are having a great Wednesday so far.

Bonjour

So little time and yet so many things to see, do and experience. I am talking about our recent Paris trip. We just celebrated our wedding anniversary, ten years to be exact and my lovely husband surprised me with options of going to Paris, London or Spain. Tough choice isn't it? We had a lot of fun  and promised to come back next year and do more sight seeings and explore some more. Paris truly live up to it's nickname as City of Love and the City of Lights. The scenery are all but amazing as seen either day or night.
I hope you having a great day so far.

Flower leapard

It feels great to be back. I am happy to be able to  say hello to each and everyone of you once again. I apologize for being away. Aside from being sick for a week, I have to take care of some personal business. Thank you so much for all the kind words and well wishes. It means a lot to me.
Does this floral leopard pants reminds you of anything? Well, it is similar to the Red Valentino leopard bow pants that I been dreaming of. Imagine my excitement when I saw them on one of those feel like sugar high shopping nights. Even though my heart wants the pricier version this wallet friendly alternative fits just right. I think this settles the craving and the wanting for now.
