Cobalt grid

Happy Monday! It's a great weekend for us and I hope you all have the same thing. Family time is always the best. I found this sweater the other day during a Target visit. The truth is I don't remember leaving that store empty handed. There is always something I find! I just love the grid print and the contrast of colors. Cobalt and burgundy together, unusual but all I can say is that is so appealing to me.  I have this sweater obsession lately and this one definitely caught my eye.
Have a great week ahead everyone !

Think PINK

Hello everyone. October is the breast cancer awareness month. A cause that is very near and dear to my heart. I loss my sister in law a few years ago with this ugly disease. She was young when she died. Leaving my brother and 2 young kids in sorrow and pain. I thought about her of what it might have been if she had survive. I thought about random stories that we would talk about if she succeed her battle. I thought about her fears leaving her young children without a mother. And since my brother remarried already, I thought about if her children still miss her, if they still thinks about her.  This is for you Grace, for all the women who are survivors, for all those that are still fighting for their lives and for all who loss their fight. To hopefully one day we can find a cure that all the affected will only need to take is a pill and cancer will simply go away.
I miss my sister in law and yet somehow having to know how she struggle and fought, I am relieve that she is now peaceful and her body will not hurt anymore. Grace, please continue to watch over us especially your children.
Happy Monday everyone. I hope you are having a great start. Stay healthy and happy !

Double frilly and reflection

Since I have several peplum blouses already and if I keep accumulating some more, I keep my eye on the details for future purchases such as this one. A peplum top with double the frill, well yes please ! Very girly, very me of course. I missed out on the white one but black is as good as the white. I think it is becoming an obsession or maybe my subtle excuse to keep buying more, lol !

On the other hand while we are shooting, those ducks keeps coming close to me. They think that we are there to throw some bread. It scares the hell out of me ! I can't stand still knowing that they are just behind me and getting closer and closer. I've been photo bomb !

As I ended this post, I can't help but reflect on what had happened from previous days. Although we have expected it to be sometime, death is inevitable and yet still sad. My father in law died last Thursday and loss his battle with Alzheimer's/dimentia. It's been a tough 2 years for the family as we watched a love one slowly slipping away. This disease is a monster, it's is horrible and would not even wish on your worst enemy. We were deprived for a more happy years with a man my son called Papa Jim.

Have a great weekend everyone. Be safe, happy and healthy !

The Little Black Dress

Hello everyone ! Happy Monday. I have a few LDB's(little black dress) and this is my new favorite. It's a tunic but works as a dress for me. The beauty of the LBD is you can accesorize and wear it a million ways, it's like a blank canvas. As I am writing these post, an idea just pop in my head ! I would wear this dress again with my favorite leopard print scarf. How chic is that? If any thing else fails, the LBD never disappoint. It is always in style, timeless and season less favorites for parties all year around. Do you have a particular favorite? How long have you have it and did it ever disappoint? Please share your thoughts. On the other note : I was riding in car with boys today. Husband took me and our son to his old college campus grounds and see how it has changed a lot since the last time he went there. We snap photos, walk around and feed some turtles and ducks. These are the days that I truly enjoyed. When Dylan is little and we are "young". Thank you so much for dropping by and I always I appreciate it.
