Whiteout

Happy Tuesday everyone. It was so nice to have a long weekend away from all the stress of life and just had a truly great time. I didn't have time to sit down and take advantage of Labor Day sales because we are constantly doing something else in the past few days. But I did a little shopping a few days before and this white dress includes one of them. I got it on clearance so in the end it all works out. And since I am a little rebel once in a while, not wearing white after the labor day is not a rule for me to follow. There is no rule in fashion, I think ! We should wear what we feel happy about, comfortable and most of all confident. Therefore, I shall and will wear white afterwards. I actually wear this white maxi to a party last Saturday and just didn't have time to gather some thoughts, sit down and compost a post. Better late than never, hey.....
I hope you have a fabulous day
 How was your weekend?
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

Vest Be With You

Maybe you are wondering why in the hell I am dress all black in the middle of summer? What happen to the bright colors, pastels or even an all white look? There is a method to my madness ! Yes it is all black but I am wearing something that is breathable courtesy of my crochet top, no sleeves via this vest and a shorts. So even it is black, i still feel cooler and comfortable.
Everything is lightweight and such an easy wear.
Some kind of trick that I have been tried and works for me.
The vest pull the whole look together. It's like showing some and hide some type of thing :)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
I am getting packed for our short trip to Florida.
We are attending the funeral and pay last respect to my husband's cousin the last time.
Thank you so much for all the sweetest thoughts, virtual hugs and condolences.
I truly, truly appreciates it all.
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

Zara 2.0

Hola everybody. Happy new week. For those that actually enjoyed their longer weekend off, how was it? Ours was awesome ! Anything that involves my love ones always are the best of time ever. Today is all about crochet and florals. Since Zara had a great sale that has already started and still ongoing, I took advantage and purchase some that I been eyeing since it became available. This matching floral jacket and shorts are the first ones on my list. However, I did not like it as much as the one's I got from last year. See here. The shorts fits me oddly I think and the jacket well, it's ok. I like that it has a pebbled texture and not smooth as the shorts. Although they are a matching pair in terms of prints, the fabric were totally different. The crochet top, it is a size XS. It has an oversized/boxy fit.
The sleeves are a bit longer.
As I am almost done with this post and looking at how the whole outfit and pictures came out,  I may have to agree with my son.
He told me that this is not the best clothes for me.
As soon as I came out, my precocious and super opinionated 8 year old said he didn't like it.
What you didn't like, I asked?
All of it :( - today may not be my lucky day.........
I apologized for some blurry pictures today. My dear photographer were in a darn hurry butt :).
I hope you have a fantastic day....
Yay or nay?
Thank you from the heart.
xoxo

By the Bridge

Hello everyone. I hope that your week is heading for a fabulous start. The very first time we pass by this bridge, I told my husband that I want my pictures taken from that bridge. He's quite and did not say anything. I think he thinks I am crazy. But after a short silence, he spoke and told me that I don't know how we can get up there. That bridge are for golf carts only.
End of conversation.
Not until yesterday on our way to an event, we pass this bridge again.
We stop. My husband snaps some photos and I am a happy, happy girl.
There were a few golf cart passers and only a only few interruptions. They smile and stop and goes on with their business but I bet they have never seen a lady wearing a crazy print pants having her pictures taken by the bridge.
Never in a million chances that I will pick this printed pants few years back but hey people change and so as our lifestyle and taste. It is all about pushing my limits and comfort zone. The top with a front  crochet detailing in nude top screams  + long pearl necklace = boring, eh? Or borderline old lady like. So what's a girl gotta do but added some punch of color for fun and a little craziness and boldness through flower leapord pants whom I actually adore before and now. I am a silly, silly girl. Thought you should know :)
Life is too short. Have fun and laugh often.
Thank you from the heart.

I Wish

Hello everyone. How was your day? Today, I am sharing my lust list from Sheinside. Who doesn't love to wear white and crochet on summer? I do ! Keeping you looking crisp, fresh and clean. My love affair with rompers and jumpsuits goes way back. There are so many options that elevates whatever look you are aiming for and just the possibilities are endless. Even though wearing rompers/jumpsuits posed a challenge when bathroom needs arise, It doesn't bother me as much. Prints, I think are season less. I can wear prints anytime of the year. Be it bold or subtle, there are varieties for whatever your heart desires. Curating this pieces keep me on my toes on what I can still add to my closet or which I already have.
What's your pick?

Thank you from the heart.
Have a great weekend everyone.
xoxo
