Silky

Who says you cannot wear your silky bottoms while out and about. The fun part of wearing my silky shorts is like wearing lingerie but in a whole new way. It is light, not constricting but rather very comfortable and just perfect to wear for the not so cool days. I pattern mix but I prefer to stay in the same color family. I think the look is more coherent that way. Since to me the look is more girly and soft, i edge it up a bit with these lace up booties for contrast.

Add Some Parka

Hello everyone. Why is it that when I am actually looking for a particular item of clothing it seems like I cannot find just the right one. With me being petite, I have a few considerations to make in terms of sizing and all. Like for instance, this parka jacket that I found when I am actually shopping for something else. Without any contemplation, little miss parka went home with me and I cannot even be more happier. It has enough weight to it, detachable fur collar, great for layering, not too thick, well made and most of all not too long and too large that overpower my petite frame. Don't you just love shoppings days like that? 

On another note: did anyone watch the Oscars last night? Some nominees that I was hoping to win actually won. I think Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence and Halle Berry are all drop dead amazing ! Just a perfect time to unwind and let me reflect on our game plan for the week ahead. One thing is for sure though, it is gonna be very busy !

I See Your True Colors

Hello, hello everyone! Few days ago the weather here in Atlanta was all great. All day of sunshine, not cold and no rain. However, every time my husband comes home he brings all this rain, windy, cold and cloudy days with him. I told him about that jokingly, of course ! Just like today, it is cloudy and dreary. The weather has been not so nice in the last few weeks and today is not an exception.  Oh weather, you will not beat me with this !!!!!  The order for the day - wear something bright and fun ! The colors were not near close to spring like colors but bright cobalt blue and fun printed red would brighten my day and any day for that matter. Also a bit representation of my personality.

 If color represent your true personality, then what color would it be?

Fall Blooms

Hi everyone. Happy Monday ! The weekend was short and sweet. How was your weekend? Saturday was the mister's birthday and since he's not home on the day of we get to celebrate it yesterday. Nothing fancy. Not even in a nice restaurant. All he wants is a home cooked meal ! It warms my heart that with all my recommendations nothing matters to him but a food made with love...  When I saw this pants at the store a few weeks ago, it instantly caught my eye. There is something about the floral prints and the other colors in contrast with black. With a minor hemming and shrinking in the dryer, i think the purchase is worth it. Flashback a few years ago, i told myself that I will not be caught dead wearing a floral print trousers and look at me now I am wearing one ! That is why you gotta love fashion. It's always changes and it constantly evolving. Readers: Is there anything you said never to wear and now you are wearing it?
