Don't look away

Nothing much to say today. My thoughts are scattered and I am still trying to process what had just happen in the last 24 hours. With what had just my little brother did, I hope he now realized what big of a mistake it was and he realized it's consequences. I can't think straight because I am angry, disappointed and utterly devastated. I wish we have control over things that might have happen but sadly we don't. When things like such happen, I try to hide my emotions by looking away.
 I am just thankful that in times when things turns up side down, I have my husband and son as my escape, my safe haven and my refuge. They give me comfort and peace of mind. Making it a lot easier not to  look away and smile.
Pardon my ramblings, I will try to be better next time.

Hello everyone. The weather in Atlanta these few weeks has been consistent. We get cloudy, sunny, gloomy and rain all happening in one day everyday. So frustrating to experience all of it lately. 

 I feel like wearing a pop of color to send some good vibes and energy to my day. I believe that we are what we eat and that we are what we wear. A bright red orange peplum top will definitely brighten my day especially finishing the look with my all trusty and loved leopard clutch. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

Fishnet

Hello everyone ! Let me say that we really enjoyed our vacation so much and it seems that it is always harder to go back with our normal lives. It's been days since we've been back home and my mind and body is still on it's vacation mode and I just can't shake it up. On a much related note: I am wearing fishnet top today. To me it is delicate and yet bold. It is sexy and yet rock and roll. I am keeping it simple, all black, with different textures and details and yet with a pack of punch. A good outfit to see my girlfriends for some cocktails and catching up.

On Remix

Hello everyone. Happy Monday ! I had a great mother's day, I hope moms like me had a fabulous day as well. On the remix for OOTD. My favorite knit top paired with an ultra girly polka skirt. I toughen the look with my moto jacket while still maintaining the neutral color vibe I want to achieve. As true to my fashion experimentation, I throw in pattern versus pattern and pattern versus texture. All in all I am satisfied ! 

On another note: Meet Junior, the new addition to our family. We adopted the furry guy last week and he just fits right in. Avery friendly little fellow. And I can't get over how he just looks like our other dog that passed away last year.

Playsuit and allergies

Channeling my inner Kate Moss today. Miss Moss looks so effortlessly chic in anything. This black playsuit come to mind. It is easy breezy and totally wearable and adaptable on those days that we need to get dress as quickly as we can. No need to think of what would go great with this bottom or vice versa. The only downside is when going to the bathroom. I actually wear this to the Kay Unger event(here) not too long ago.

I love you Spring but I also hate you. For the last 3 days I been suffering from my spring allergies and it is not fun at all.  From swollen, itchy and watery eyes to scratchy throat, constant sneezing and congested. The pollen counts yesterday and today are so high that you see all cars with yellow coat of pollen dust on them. A guarantee for a doctor visit is a must this week for a much needed allergy shots that I kinda abandon thinking that I am doing fine.  My husband said I need to live inside the bubble to be away from all of the triggers my allergy or move to the dessert......Not so looking forward to 3 shots a month for the rest of my life but it is the only way to live and enjoy life spring, summer and the outdoors.

In Your Memory

Happy Monday loves. Thank you so much for all the kind words from my last post. I am still under the weather but feeling a little better than a few days ago. How was your weekend? In today's post I would like to remember one person who are near and dear to me. A lady whom I fondly called Mama Tita. She's like a second mother to me. I have so many memories of her but my fondest would be watching her cook and bake. She's a quintessential Martha Stewart with an impeccable sense of style and endless love for fashion. She influence me in a lot of ways I can only imagined. She may belong to the upper class of society in the country I came from but she never make me feel that I do not belong to hers. Looking back, the many summers, holidays and birthdays I spend in her house are all now lovely memories to remember and  I will keep in my heart every time I think of my mama...She passed away a few days ago. I know that wherever she is now, she's happy for she had a great family and a great life ! I will missed you.
