Neutral Monday

Happy Monday everyone. What a gorgeous day to start our week. Outside our house I can see trees with buds starting to bloom. Although our weather are still unpredictable for the most part, the spring is almost here. I am playing with neutrals today with a punch of leopard. Wearing this lightweight open knit top that I never had the chance to wear last year. I have other visions to wear this top but for now I am liking it. Also I have to give it to my husband for being loving and being patient with me especially on days that no matter how starving he can be, but will still stop to take some photos simply because I asked. And my note to myself,  to stop being spoiled rotten because I know I can around him.........
Thank you so much for reading and for your time.
May you have a great week ahead of you !

A Boyfriend For Me

Yes my loves, I have a new boyfriend. My new favorite boyfriend jeans. I like it a lot that I find myself wanting to wear it over and over especially on days that I don't want to be bothered and not constricted with the skin tight skinnies. No wonder why this jeans are most preferred by us on weekends errands because of amazingly how comfortable it is. I been looking for a perfect fit for me for awhile now and I cannot be even more satisfied that I found this baby on the day I am not even actually looking. If I wanted just comfort I could have just stay with my sweat pants but today I want to wear something fashionably comfortable. On a much unrelated note: It is such a pretty day for us to stay indoors. We decided to explore our neighborhood before heading out for a quick bite.

As always thank you for reading and have a fabulous day.... It is already Friday somewhere so I say have a fabulous weekend too !

A Dose Of Leopard

Hello everyone. How's your week so far? Mine was as busy as it can be. When I saw this skirt at F21 online, I actually have less expectation. I have an affinity with leopard print so I ordered it anyway just to satisfy my curiosity. It is actually a great quality. The leapord portion of the skirt  is made of a suade. The best part is that material has some stretch to it that accomodates to my ever growing belly on days that I over extend myself eating to my hearts content.

Today marks our 9th year wedding anniversary. How quick the time flies. Sometimes I ask myself, it has been that long? Seems like we just got married. I guess when you are in the happiest state of your life and you are with the right person, then everything works super duper fine. Oh, I just love my life right now.... Have a great weekend ahead of you.

Thank you so much for reading and for coming a long with me in this journey of my personal style.

Spotted And Some Memory Lane

Hi everyone. I am really loving this three day weekend. We did a lot but mostly family time. We went to watch a football game and went down some memory lane. Here's the story that I want to share if you don't mind me telling. Back when my husband was resting inside his dorm room, he overheard a man and his wife talking. The man was telling his wife that the room that my husband was occupying used to be his room. The conversation went on and on until the couple move on and leave to explore the campus some more. After hearing that conversation, my husband wonder -  maybe one day he will be back too with his wife just like that man he heard talking outside his room. Some 20 years later, my husband was back at UGA(University of Georgia) with me and our son. We really had a good time at the game eventhough we did a lot of walking and it's hot. The DAWGS won which was good. The thing is, I am happy that it was me that he took. I never heard about this story until we stop by outside his dorm room that day. After we're done in the campus, we went downtown and it was definitely a collage town. Lots of young people on the street. The atmosphere was fun and young.  I suspected that those college kids are already drinking even before the game starts and continue on after the game is over. Definitely a party town ! It makes me realize how I miss my collage days too. On a related note: tell me if you cannot spot me with these pants on even from a distance? I love the pattern. I decided to just pair it with a simple tee to tone down the print a bit.  I apologize for a blurry pictures. I been playing with my camera settings and I am working on it.

Have you seen this heels lately? I love love it.

Thank you so much for reading and may you have a fabulous week ahead of you.

Better Late Than Never

Hello everyone. I am back ! Sorry for being MIA. Been out for a few days due to super busy at work and I been under the weather too. The stress and lack of adequate sleep is slowly taking a toll on my body. Been eating a lot and not working out is not ideal for me so I am trying to get back on track. I found this slim cropped trouser at H&M that I am on a hunt for a while. There are many out there but it was never a good fit to address the issue of me being a petite gal. I finally got me one and it is in a nice orangey reddish color. It is meant to be cropped but since I am a shortie, this is how it looks on me ! I hope you have a great day and a fabulous weekend too. Thank you all for the nice words from my previous post.

It's Neon Alright

Hi everyone. Happy Thursday !! I can't believe that we are almost half way through August. This month went by too fast for me. I am happy that the Mr. fixed our Wifi problem. He's been so busy for the last 2 weeks and didn't have a chance to do it. I can now enjoy again  sitting anywhere with my laptop in the house, that is such a relief for me. But remember those days without the laptop and the Wifi's?  Look, how we gotten so spoiled with the technology. On a much more related note : I like trendy stuff but I don't follow or buy a lot of trendy items. Some might work for others and some might not work for me. This neon shorts is a classic example for me that I can follow a trend that will work for me and not having to spend a lot.  I got these shorts from Target few months ago and I am happy with it. I been wearing this baby a lot so the cost per wear is next to nothing(imagine that !). The cut is similar to the J Crew 3 " chino neon shorts.

Thank you so much for reading.
Readers : What is your take on trendy stuff?

Miss Peplum Lace

Fun day Friday to all..... Just when I say no more peplums for me, I tend to find some cute one like this but what draw me at first was the color. Can you guys help me out on this. The website says "teal" but to me it is not. Is there such thing as "charteuse blue" because that is what I am thinking. Readers, what are your thoughts? I can be wrong you know. Anyhow she just screams delicate, feminine with a touch of sexy ! I wonder as I am finishing up this post if somewhere out there, someone were named as Miss Peplum Lace? Celebrity kids whose names are Apple, Blue Ivy Carter or Violet,  I think it is possible.

It's a busy week for us and it will be more busier next week because my son goes back to school. Oh I love thee when the husband is home and all the queen  has to do is pretty much nothing.

There will be a lot of shopping for school stuff this weekend and squeeze some for me too. My son always complains shopping with me but we shall see this weekend since it's all about his stuff.

Thank you all for reading and for being a part of my personal fashion style journey.
