Better Late Than Never

Hello everyone. I am back ! Sorry for being MIA. Been out for a few days due to super busy at work and I been under the weather too. The stress and lack of adequate sleep is slowly taking a toll on my body. Been eating a lot and not working out is not ideal for me so I am trying to get back on track. I found this slim cropped trouser at H&M that I am on a hunt for a while. There are many out there but it was never a good fit to address the issue of me being a petite gal. I finally got me one and it is in a nice orangey reddish color. It is meant to be cropped but since I am a shortie, this is how it looks on me ! It's Neon Alright

Hi everyone. Happy Thursday !! I can't believe that we are almost half way through August. This month went by too fast for me. I am happy that the Mr. fixed our Wifi problem. He's been so busy for the last 2 weeks and didn't have a chance to do it. I can now enjoy again  sitting anywhere with my laptop in the house, that is such a relief for me. But remember those days without the laptop and the Wifi's?  Look, how we gotten so spoiled with the technology. On a much more related note : I like trendy stuff but I don't follow or buy a lot of trendy items. Some might work for others and some might not work for me. This neon shorts is a classic example for me that I can follow a trend that will work for me and not having to spend a lot.  I got these shorts from Target few months ago and I am happy with it. I been wearing this baby a lot so the cost per wear is next to nothing(imagine that !). The cut is similar to the J Crew 3 " chino neon shorts.

Leather Skirt

Happy Tuesday everyone. Does anyone has not seen that movie "Confessions of a Shopoholic? Or not read the book yet? If your like me -  an addicted shopper, you know what I mean that I can relate to Isla Fisher's character somehow. Not the terrible spending but the feeling she has everytime she buys something that she really likes. I feel happy and delighted when I found this leather skirt. She is definitely worth the splurge ! It might sound shallow but I feel an instant gratification.  It's classic, an investment piece and I know will last a long time.

Miss Peplum Lace

Fun day Friday to all..... Just when I say no more peplums for me, I tend to find some cute one like this but what draw me at first was the color. Can you guys help me out on this. The website says "teal" but to me it is not. Is there such thing as "charteuse blue" because that is what I am thinking. Readers, what are your thoughts? I can be wrong you know. Anyhow she just screams delicate, feminine with a touch of sexy ! I wonder as I am finishing up this post if somewhere out there, someone were named as Miss Peplum Lace? Celebrity kids whose names are Apple, Blue Ivy Carter or Violet,  I think it is possible.

It's a busy week for us and it will be more busier next week because my son goes back to school. Oh I love thee when the husband is home and all the queen  has to do is pretty much nothing.

There will be a lot of shopping for school stuff this weekend and squeeze some for me too. My son always complains shopping with me but we shall see this weekend since it's all about his stuff.

Romantic Blue

Happy Wednesday ! Thank you all for the sweet comments from our previous camping adventures. We really had a good time. There is nothing better than with the company of the people that matters to you the most. This top is one of the good finds from F21 and I purchase it last year. The shape and color actually hold up well. In person, the color is more like a bluish purple.  It's girly, it's blue, a little bit of sexy and romantic. On the other note: I love love these ON Rockstar Jeggings. It fits like a glove to me and I got them a few weeks back when they are having the 30% promo. Also, these Jessica Simpson tote that I found at DSW website was also on sale. It is actually well made and it's substantial as a work bag to haul everything except my kitchen sink or a carry on too when we travel.  I will settle for this one for now until my funds are enough to buy the fabulous Celine.

Conversational Print

It's Friday you guys and I cannot even be more excited to do something fun before school starts. Last hooray for summer of 2012. The plan is that we are going to take the RV and camp out in the Stone Mountain(GA) and watch laser shows at night. Mind you, I am not an outdoorsy kind of girl(no offense) but I decided to go this time because we have the RV. I know, i know what's the point of camping out if you don't sleep on the tent, right? Is being terrified of snake good enough? Anyway, the Stone Mountain is not too remote at all.  Actually they have RV parks over there(said my husband). Ok then I am in !  On the related note:  How are you? I am having a fantastic day and I hope you do too.  Can you tell what kind of prints I have on this dress? I simply have no idea. It looks like birds, fairies, wings, butterfly etc etc. The other night I asked my son what he thinks of the prints, what does it looks like to him. And I asked my husband as well. Well shall I say that my son has more opinions than him. Let's leave it that way shall we? Reader - what do you think? Regardless, I like this shift dress a lot. It's comfortable and lightweight. Perfect for these hot summer days, ruuning errands with some ballet flats or sandals. I might have to take it to the tailor to alter the sleeves though.
