Oktoberfest

Over the weekend we went on a short trip as a weekend getaway to this small town north of Georgia called Helen. It is a cute little german town that attracts tourist all year long and most especially around the Fall and holiday season. Helen's biggest celebration is their Oktoberfest that attracts massive people every year and that includes us of course. Even though this was not our first time to visit, it was still lots of fun, food and shopping.
Here are some pictures and hope you enjoy them.
Thank you from the heart.

This is in one of those cute stores that serves the best hot cocoa ever. The smell of the chocolate takes everyone here and while I am waiting, found me my favorite spot in the whole store.
A German town is not complete without a christmas store that was a  delight to visit.

  14. Hahaha, it always makes me laugh to see these interpretations of Germany on Oktoberfests. Actually, here in Germany people make alot of fun of the Bavarians (who are wearing the typical German leather shorts and having Oktoberfests and beer and pretzels) since most Germans cannot identify with the federal state Bavaria. But its fun anyway to see these fests all around the world!
Thanks for your comment and have a wonderful Sunday!

    1. ha ha Larissa, thanks a lot for enlightening me. Here in US, you will see people actually wearing them a lot especially during the Halloween or Oktoberfest. Now I know that real Germans doesn't even wear such things, lol
