Fall layers : Old and new

Is this crazy or what but thanksgiving is only in a matter of days. How did November just went flying this past? We have families coming over and I need my butt going to get our house ready for our guest and I am busy with the capital B!

Layering, color changes and transition is all about today's post. The trick about layering is with varying the texture and thickness of each item of clothing. You don't want to look so stuffy do you? And I don't want to look either. And when the weather gets more colder I can add a thicker coat, a scarf and swap my pumps to a bootie or a boots and I am good to go.

I did a little closet shopping over the weekend. I have these pieces that I have not paying attention that much. My husband is terribly happy about it of course. But I am just giving myself a break for the sweet deals and sales for the holiday shopping.  My lovely blogger friends, are you with me on this? I hope that my husband will not read this post because that is my evil genius plan. Ha ha !

I hope you have a wonderful week and ready for the big feast.

The trees in our neighborhood all have this beautiful vibrant colors of oranges, yellow and purple.
It is not all business with my little photographer. We have lots of playing and goofing around.

  10. This is a perfect "thanksgiving" outfit! The colours look so great together and I love how you styled that blouse.

I'm super jealous of all of the feed you'll have this week. In Canada, we already had our feast, so I will live vicariously through bloggers this week.

  27. Your layering is amazing because it doesn't look like layering. The bright blouse looks like scarf and if the ends of sleeves weren't visible I'd believe so :) I like how it all turned out. And I hope you find something nice on sales ;)
