Color Blind

Happy Thursday everyone. I hope you all  had a good halloween. My son had enough candies to last him till the end of the year or maybe not because I will enjoy some of it from time to time. He had so much goodies that he cannot contained the excitement.  I have a question. I know Halloween is over but do I look like a pumpkin with this top on? Well my husband said so when he saw me with these outfit the other day. I came down and he said "you look like a pumpkin. The colors are so halloween ! He thought that I am participating at our halloween costume contest at work since I have mention that to him a few weeks earlier. When I put it on I did not even think about it. What was on my mind that morning was to go get dressed and be ready on time to avoid rushing and be late for work but definitely not to look like a pumpkin ! I told him that it's caramel and not orange. What do you guys think? By the way my husband is color blind. As I am finishing up with this post and look at this pictures - I asked myself, oh boy, oh boy, what was I thinking? In fairness, the website says it's striped tee in caramel/black!!!!

Have a great weekend !

  1. I'm loving all the subtle ways to give a nod to Halloween! No, you absolutely don't look like a pumpkin :) It's the most adult, chic way to say 'Woohoo! I love Halloween!' without walking around like a pumpkin!

  11. Hey Sam, I love these stories about your husband. I have a feeling mine will get along nicely with yours, they seem to be made of the same material. Mine is even colour blind too! haha. Sorry but I'm going to have to agree with your husband on this, it does slightly resemble halloween but in a good way, a very chic high fashion halloween outfit. Don't worry, one time I paired bright red pants with a bright green shirt, my husband said I looked like an elf but I didn't care and went out embracing my elfdom. It's the woman that makes the outfit work right?

  12. Orange or carmel - I don't think it matters. It's a very pretty top regardless and it looks great on you! I love the denim underneath and you did a great job with pattern mixing - love the wild shoes!!
