Day Off

Have you heard of that TV series "The Walking Dead"? Almost everyone I know have seen this show but me ! Well the other day when the husband has a day off we decided to visit this small town in Senoia, Georgia where they filmed. We are most certainly not a movie groupie but we heard a lot about nice things about this town from the girl that snipped my hair, our neighbor to another mom from my son's baseball team. It was one of those days that my conversation with the husband went from food to errands and then all of a sudden he said, ok let's go ! Just like that. The main street were filled with quaint stores, boutique, restaurants, gelato store and antique stores that are right next to each other.
I am a city gal at heart but I slowly begin to like living outside the city lately.  There is something about this smaller towns that interest me. The charm, the less crowded, slow paced life and people. Behind those closed doors and white picket fences has different story to tell.  Everyone knows everybody and everybody's business You might think that small towns are quiet and boring but in reality it is not. My husband said that since there is less thing to do therefore gossip is a sport ! Is that true?
Have a fabulous Monday everyone and once again thank you for your time.

  18. i grew up in a small town that i hated growing up in, being related to everyone, everyone knowing your business, nothing to do, etc. but now i appreciate it and am glad i had that upbringing.

    1. Hi Elle, you are so true. There is nothing better than small children being raise to smaller towns and the education. But then again I think it is how a parent raise their children and teach them right to become a good person when they grow up.

  19. Such a pretty place to visit! I wish I shared the same views about living in a small town. I guess my biggest complaint is the lack of diversity and lack of competition in businesses. You look amazing by the way, I'd totally wear your outfit.
