Visiting The Past And Thankful

Hello everyone. As I am writing this post, I can't help but pause and be thankful for all the small and big things that I have in my life and to enjoy and appreciate what truly matters to me- great time with my family, a visit from good friends, yummy food and enjoy the day of gratitude and relaxation. The older I get the more I enjoy and appreciate my sorroundings and my loveones.
Speaking of family we visited this estate that once belongs to my husband's great great grandfather long time ago. In the estate sits a beautiful plantation home that now serves as a restaurant and a sometime bed and breakfast. I love how they maintain the original southern charm and preserve it's beauty. Of course I will not miss an opportunity to take some photos with my favorite sweater dress. Rumor has it that after owning the property for many years the great great grandpa lost the estate to a game of poker.
The current owner told us that there are still some relatives of my husband that lives around the area that frequents the estate and visit and take photos sometimes. The exciting part of her story was that sometimes a ghost will appear on their photos or they will feel a sudden strong push on the shoulders. Unfortunately after I downloaded everything, no ghost was behind me, next to me or anywhere near me which kinda makes my husband a little disappointed. Not even some pat in my back !

Looking at the camera guy !
This horse was so sweet. He actually likes to play and a bit of a show off. I swear he got down on his knees and roll over like a dog.

Lastly, I am thankful for your time and sweet thougths. For without you, I would not enjoy blogging as much I would if you are not part of this journey with me.
